The home is very special as it is a slate home that was completely renovated in 2017. The inner walls have a special insulation and two apartments were certified with the same standard as a green passive house meaning that the warm air stays inside the home based on a test performed. The home is heated by wooden pellets but all you need to do is just turn on your radiators in the winter time. The apartment also has a wood burning stove too!
The living room area is absolutely filled with character with the exposed wooden beams some of which are inside the walls exposed. A breakfast nook has been placed in one area for you fo look out at the Mosel River.
One bedroom is very large about 30 SQM and has two large windows. The house has large windows allowing for light.

Brauneberg is just over 20 minute drive from the base but this drive is very very easy no small windy roads mostly the quiet autobahn.
